Freezing January Thoughts

Ayana here, once again rising from the grave of eternal laziness!

I know I haven’t posted in a while. *checks last post made* And holy… the last post I made was so last year!

My apologies for the lack of new posts. I can’t say I’ve been busy since we’re living in a pandemic right now. But between playing a bunch of games such as Animal Crossing, Phasmophobia, DotA and any other game that suits my current mood, I’ve been mostly sleeping or eating, if not working.

The election was the most stressful event for me, but the holidays were… the loneliest. :/

Yeah, I know. It’s not just me that must be feeling the same way, right? Sure, I have my husband with me and my dad who lives with us. But I miss hanging out and spending time with my mom, my brothers and their family. I miss having fun family gatherings (although I don’t like most of one of my parent’s extended family…) I miss joy-riding with my friends and going on milktea runs with my best friend.  I miss the old days where we can just go anywhere without any fears of the virus or run into any altercations with anti-maskers, or people who are different from me.

Yeah… I can’t wait for this pandemic to be over. But remember, we can’t be complacent, right? The only way we can get through this is if we all work together.

So please! Let’s be kind and compassionate to everyone. All of us are struggling and a little kindness would go a long way. I think it’s about time that we start thinking about others too, instead of just focusing on ourselves.

That’s my little pep-talk for today, lol. Let’s see if I’ll be able to write another post soon.

Take care!
